Well, I was eager to trade in order to make some Points (profit), to tell you all about it and to show you what I got up to…

...but by being true to myself, I just could not see a valid reason for entering a trade.

Plus there was news of the markets falling – and, it was when I was looking at it, to then see it rising again – but ever so slowly...

It all looked so painfully slow and messy to me and with what I could see and feel, I decided to leave it be.

Oh yes… and on the Fundamental side of things, there's a BIG NEWS Release due out at 17:15 GMT – London, today.

That was my reason for not trading today!

Maybe I didn't feel like trading today…

...and having that feeling is just as important as not being able to see a viable trade.

So, as well as reading the markets, be sure to read yourself, or your feelings.

But then again, maybe it's all about the excitement of having my trading colleagues take over some of the workload, which will enable me to work on other aspects of this and that... you know, the things I 
like to do.

My trading colleagues have been there from the beginning, quietly working behind the scenes and now it's time for them to come forth and shine.

All will be revealed pretty soon!

Anyway, there's news of an FOMC meeting today, which if you look over here: http://www.dailyfx.com/calendar you'll be able to see all of the forthcoming News Releases.

And if you keep your eyes on that (the site, that is), you'll be able to take advantage of the best times to trade.

Oh yes, I almost forgot, it's still the holiday season, isn't it?

We rely on the traders of the world to move the markets and if they're not around to follow, we have to sit and wait... for them to come back.

So, it's at times like these (May to September) that the markets tend to go quiet (traders/people are on holiday) but there are still trading opportunities, it's just that you have to wait that bit longer.

And if you can wait that bit longer, based on Super-Trader Trait #9, you'll do just fine.

You may even become… well… a Super-Trader! And that is a part and parcel of the whole idea of trading, isn't it?

Today I did my trades as usual but I also sent messages to the Membership Subscribers and I was hoping and a praying they would be up and awake to catch my messages.

Well, at least one of you did!

There was a good move up at 07:00AM on the DAX and the FTSE but it was the DAX I was looking to trade if the opportunity arose – but I wasn't so sure the Price would keep on rising on the DAX at 07:00AM…

…so I waited to see what would happen at 07:01.

I was up at 05:30, my usual time of rising.
