Here's an email  I received today my answer/response is below:

Statement/Query/Question:

"I'm still doing extremly well and moving up my £'s per point I
have been into double figure £'s for a few weeks now, but there is a
question that maybe you can answer, I have looked on IG and Capital
Spreads for the answer but none were there. The question is at what
point does the spread betting firms say enough you cannot go above
£'x''s per point?"

My Response/Answer:

I've attached a screenshot for you to see re: Capital Spreads...

...and as far as IGIndex goes, I did phone them a while back with
the very same question and I was told;

'So as long as you have enough money in your account, to cover your
margins/positions, you can trade at any £ per point you wish.'

I do believe we'd have to make a call to IG first to verify that
but that does sound good, doesn't it?

I've still yet to fully use IGIndex as I'm still using Capital
Spreads to trade from but since Capital Spreads will only allow a maximum trade of
£200 per point on the FTSE, that would be the time to flock over to
IGIndex as you begin to soar to the higher figures of £500 per point
and beyond, should you wish to...

...and for you who are already with IG and are familiar with their
platform and getting your Points too, I'll be coming to you for ideas
on how to use them as I too reach the higher echelon's in £'s per point.
